PLOT
Ovid’s voice will emerge like a whisper from the plants and stones, and come to life through the settings and the bodies of the young actors from the Accademia del Dramma Antico and the performers from the Peparini Academy. Echo and Narcissus, Pluto and Persephone, Ciane, Hermaphroditus and Salmacis, Deucalion and Pyrrha, Apollo and Daphne, Orpheus and Eurydice: death and eternity, speech and silence, love and violence, the human and the divine, the masculine and the feminine — these and other themes will shine through in some of the most moving tales of our culture.
