Assistance to the Disabled

Essential information for the access of people with disabilities to the Greek Theater

You need to know:

– that the recommended gate for the access is the one on Via Giuseppe Agnello, 300 meters from the beginning of Via Ettore Romagnoli;

– that the disabled do not have the possibility, due to the structure and configuration of the Theatre, to access any of the numbered and unnumbered seats;

– that the Organization provides for the placement of the disabled on a wooden platform, equipped with a special slide, located at the scene level to the left of sector M;

– that the first two rows of sector M are reserved for those accompanying the disabled, with reduced price admission;

– that the Organization provides free admission for the disabled;

– that at the above mentioned entrance gate, volunteers from the Siracusa Delegation of the Knights of Malta, wearing recognizable uniforms and identification cards, accompany the disabled to their assigned location, with no need for prior agreements;

– that 150 meters from the beginning of Via Giuseppe Agnello there is a parking lot on the left where the carer, after having accompanied the disabled person to the entrance, will be able to park the car on their way back.
